It is such a disgusting sight to see some Imo youth who were supporting Ihedioha suddenly switching sides and promoting Hope Uzodimma. Its very repulsive. Nobody said you should not show the new governor the respect that is due to him. But at least try to demonstrate a sense of ideology or principle no matter how small. Nigerians need that desperately. Nigeria needs political parties with sharper and clearer ideological coloration which has actually been taking place for the past several years where we see the APC beginning to behave like a left wing party and PDP more to the right. Try to have some sense of moral and political decency. Nobody said don’t show respect to the new governor but please try to show that you have some roots because rootlessness in politics has never helped anybody. This wayo that some Imo youths have of using “I am a democrat” to justify a policy of AGIP will not work. If you are a true democrat then my friend try to demonstrate some principles. True democrats have principles not AGIP. Keep your eye on the ball of justice rather than allow yourself to be hoodwinked into behaving like a nincompoop with no principles. What kind of shallow cross carpeting is that?
